Dr. Jalali Appointed to CDC’s Advisory Board

Dr. Jalali has been appointed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services to the Board of Scientific Counselors at the CDC’s National 4Center for Injury Prevention and Control. Dr. Jalali will work with public health experts and research institutions to address and prevent overdoses. His role includes helping states and organizations improve safety and health, as well as recommending funding for research and prevention projects.
