MJ Joins Panel with FDA Commissioner at RADARS® System National Meeting

MJ was invited to speak alongside the FDA Commissioner at the 17th Annual RADARS® System National Meeting, a virtual event hosted by Denver Health and Hospital Authority. The panel focused on data generation and postmarketing surveillance for emerging CNS-active drugs, including psychedelics.

MJ shared insights from his research on the opioid crisis and expanded on the implications for psychedelics, including the complexities of adverse event reporting, regulatory challenges, and the need for systems-based approaches to monitoring real-world use.

The event brought together experts from the FDA, DEA, SAMHSA, CDC, academia, and industry to address pressing questions around evidence generation and drug safety in a rapidly evolving landscape.
