Supporting Displaced Researchers Affected by Conflict
March 29, 2022

Many researchers around the world continue to face devastating disruptions due to ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, Yemen, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Myanmar, and beyond. In response, MJ is opening an opportunity to host up to two researchers from these regions whose backgrounds align with the lab’s focus areas—particularly simulation modeling, optimization, and machine learning applied to health care and policy.
This initiative aims to provide a temporary academic home and support system for scholars whose work has been impacted by war and instability. Interested researchers or those connected to eligible candidates are encouraged to reach out directly.
