Lab Member Presents Research to President Biden at the White House

Lab member Alan Zhang recently had the remarkable opportunity to present his research at the White House to President Biden, focusing on the urgent mental health crisis among young Americans.

His findings highlight deeply concerning trends: 52% of young people report feelings of depression or hopelessness, 24% report thoughts of self-harm, and 71% agree there is a mental health crisis in the U.S. Despite growing awareness and policy efforts, the data show virtually no improvement in mental health outcomes for this population.
