Alan Zhang Presents Mental Health Research at the White House

Lab member Alan Zhang recently had the honor of presenting his research on the mental health crisis among young Americans to President Biden at the White House. His findings are sobering: no significant improvement in mental health with 52% of young Americans feeling depressed or hopeless, and 24% experiencing thoughts of self-harm. Moreover, a staggering 71% recognize a mental health crisis in the nation. This presentation underscores the urgent need for focused mental health initiatives.
